Camberley Signs can offer direct to media printing onto a wide range of rigid boards. There are 3 main types of boards available:- Correx®, Foamex and Dibond. All having different features that need to be considered when specifying what you require for your project.
Correx® is a corrugated polypropylene plastic board that is ideal for temporary signage and printed panels. It is the cheapest of the three options, being waterproof allows it to be used outdoors, and the internal fluting contributes to its lightweight and strong structure. It can be cut to shape easily drilled, riveted, glued of by far the most popular use is mounted onto estate agent ‘for sale’ post signs.
Foamex, on the other hand, is a dense PVC plastic sheet that is smooth in finish. Again, it is strong and waterproof, so ideal for use outside. This is also a cost-effective media that lends itself to exhibition stands, advertising panels and basic signage.
ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) or Dibond sheets are the premium option available. These are made up from a polyethylene core sandwiched between two aluminium skins making the panels very strong and durable. Ideal for external signs that may be subject to wind loadings. We have used this material on Shop front fascia signage, event and exhibition signs, and photo gallery displays.
We can also offer a range of over laminates to increase durability and add texture to the surface if needed.
